TOKYO TENT WORLD
With my project Tokyo Tent World I wanted to bring the freedom of the outdoors, this deeply rooting feeling of wilderness to my everyday city life. It´s always this game between the search for adventure on the one hand and yet the desire to have a roof over your head at the end of the day, be it only the thin skin of a tent.
For me, there is something extraordinary about looking out into the world from a tent, a gateway of possibilities opening up. And at the same time, that tent membrane generates such a soft light that you almost feel a prenatal sense of security, shelter and comfort
